Keeping Her Family Going Strong and Still Pursuing Her Dream: Rae-Shell Fletcher’s LIMU Success Story

Rae-Shell Fletcher was thrilled. Finally, everything was in place and she was pursuing her dream. She made the huge decision to give up her salon practice and get her Master’s degree in Creative Writing. Life was good! Her husband was doing great in the oil and gas industry, and supporting the family during her transition. That included paying the big bills that came with their daughters’ competitive dancing activities.

But sure enough, just after Rae-Shell got started, the oil and gas industry took a big hit. Things tightened up in the Fletcher household, and Rae-shell found herself stuck. The biggest problem was paying the girls’ large dance bills. “Most moms at my school have one girl that dances. I have three. I have dance competition fees, recital fees, tuition fees, clothes—times three!” said Rae-shell.

“My mom says sometimes you pray for stuff and it’s right under your nose.” 

Rae-Shell wasn’t about to put her girls’ dreams on hold just because she was pursuing her own dream. Dance season was coming. A new round of fees and tuition was on the way. Rae-Shell couldn’t pull them out of dance. “I was desperate and it was stressful,” she remembers.

So, she did what any natural born mother would do. She started thinking of ways to make some extra money.  

Looking for a Solution

Rae-Shell‘s first idea was to sell candy bouquets to all the other dance moms. She loved making them but soon realized that despite all the hard work that went into that, it didn’t yield nearly enough to cover dance expenses. Not even close.

Then another dance mom told her she should try the LIMU opportunity. Rae-Shell had already had great success using LIMU products. She tried them herself after hearing about them and loved them. Even her father had taken them with great success. Still, she had no idea there was a business opportunity with LIMU.

It was a simple decision when she heard that was available at LIMU. “I didn’t have to see any charts. When I saw the prosperity plan and how the company was set up to help you to succeed, I was like where do I sign?” says Rae-Shell.

Learning to Follow the Plan

Rae-Shell didn’t have tons of time to devote to selling the product anyway. Getting her Master’s and putting her three girls through school and keeping up with their rigorous dance schedules took up most of her time. That’s why LIMU worked out so well. “It was perfect. I didn’t have to load it up in the trunk of my car and ride it around to people. All I had to do was share some good news with someone. If they were business-minded and self-motivated, it was ‘hey we can do this!’”

Rae-Shell had previously participated in Network Marketing companies with whom she signed up and didn’t know who her sponsor was. She had done the drill of carrying lots of inventory and getting stuck with it after failing to sell it. This was different.

Seeing the Payoff

Rae-Shell didn’t have time for that anyway. Getting her masters and putting her three girls through school and their rigorous dance schedule took up most of her time.  That’s why LIMU worked out so well. “It was perfect. Rae-Shell achieved LIMU’s 20K rank in nine months and earned a free black BMW, paid for by LIMU. She called it her “trophy on wheels”; it really got the interest of the other moms at dance competitions. Rae-Shell says, “The moms are like ‘OK, what is she doing?’ ‘What is going on!?’”

LIMU eliminated Rae-Shell’s old car note, and soon LIMU covered all her dance recital fees. And other things began to change, too. Rae-Shell would be heartbroken in previous dance seasons. There were new jackets, T-shirts, and all the other things that go along with dance, on top of the fees. It was hard to pay for those, and the girls had learned not to even ask for them. “Now I say ‘yes, you can have those jackets’ because of LIMU. That’s a proud mama moment!”

LIMU came into the Fletchers’ life at exactly the right time. The oil and gas business always ebbs and flows, but LIMU gave Rae-Shell the stability to stick with the plan of getting her Master’s. She says, “I don’t know how we would’ve made it those two years that I was off from a regular job without getting those LIMU commission checks and bonuses. It was just such a blessing.”

Having Been There …

Now Rae-Shell takes comfort in knowing she has a solid way for people to change their lives. Having been there herself, in real financial difficulty, LIMU had helped her.
