Following on from its 2015 entry onto the Colombian market, Mary Kay has announced its expansion into Peru. The US direct sales brand will open a new headquarters in Lima, Peru in September this year.
The cosmetics firm is due to announce its in-country web and social media presence imminently, and will host a series of demonstrations highlighting its beauty and skin care offer as well as the business and entrepreneurial opportunities that come part and parcel with life as an independent Mary Kay consultant.
The Peruvian direct sales market has built over the last 40 years, with the World Bank rating the country as 50th for ease of doing business in 2015.
